Chapter 6
Upon meeting June again in her Pearl Cave, they said they enjoyed their visit. John said his farewell and Will promised he would be back and bring Penny along to meet her antimatter self before she reaches the age of thirteen.
Heading back to the Amethyst Cave, there came a sudden gust of wind. The cloud, serving as the path in the upside-down meadow, stirred making it’s travellers tumble and try to stay on it.
“Son, hold on to my hand!” John got up with an outstretched hand. When they grasped, he helped Will up and staggered to reach the door.
Just then the cave door opened and it was Billy. He held it open for them. “Come on! Hurry! It's my dad!”
“Is he over us?” John asked when they made it to the hallway. The mirror that reflected with an aura around them shattered on the floor.
“Yes, but you're safe in my cave until he’s gone.”
While they waited for the wind to die down, John worried about his family in the Jupiter II while Will explored the same rooms with Billy.
“Oh God, don't make my antimatter self fool my family.”
The wind became stronger and it shook the stalagtites, causing one of them to come loose almost crashing onto the Professor.
